ISOLATION Ain't for the Faint of Heart

This is sooooooooooooooo me right now!!!!
*Hair is impossible
*Feeling fat but not sassy
*Looking for my next sugar fix

My ISOLATION SELF is not a pretty sight…and don’t even begin to ask me about my ISOLATION BRAIN!!!

Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.  We are hanging in there but my rope is getting really frazzled!!!

Gotta remember this one:

Hope you are hanging in there!
Love & hugs!

  2. My morning walk takes care of that feeling.

We live in a pretty remote area anyway so this isolation isn't too bad for us. What I miss is church and all the ministries.

  3. Oh, I'm with you. We had a few of our friends over yesterday afternoon for a porch/patio gathering. I served brownies and lemonade and it was such fun. And, I can't get to the hair dresser quick enough. Happy weekend!

  4. I hope my comment went through. The internet has been freezing some this morn and I am not sure if it did. HOWEVER I hope it did. I hate when I leave a cool witty message and I lose it.

  6. I was fine for 5 weeks but got a bit cranky during week 6. As we enter week 7 I hope the weather is good so I can be outdoors more....stay well!

    1. Patti, being outside in pretty weather certainly helps. We have done TONS of yard work!!! And I try to walk as many mornings as possible. Staying in constantly can definitely be depressing. Thanks for stopping by.

  7. NO...I hate when things happen with my comments. CRAZY....anyway, I said, hair gets washed but styled....NOPE. I feel like I have been eating like a horse but as of yet, actually lost some poundage. As for the sugar fix, ALWAYS, ALWAYS wanting and looking for that. As for the brain, well there is no excuse for it....it is what it is on a daily basis. Now this comment is not near as witty as the last one that got lost. Sorry....but maybe I left you with some smiles and laughs.

    1. I went to the dr. today for my yearly exam. For once I was sort of glad to go just to get out, but at the same time I wondered what germs might be floating around!!!! They were very careful though

  9. I haven't been in isolation because of being a healthcare worker but I'm not doing my usual job in surgery. I miss that and my coworkers! Hopefully today our governor will announce that we'll be able to do elective surgery soon! Hang in there..it will get better!

  11. I'm doing well here in Texas, with that said, I sure can relate to all you've said. Yesterday I made myself do my hair, makeup and got dressed, even put on my rings and watch. The I went outside and sat in the swing. lol

    1. Mary, I have made myself get dressed "most" days. I was so afraid if I didn't I would just sink into despair. Of course, there's not much I can do with the hair these days!!!!!! Thanks for dropping by to chat:)
