Fa-BOO-lous Ideas

In just a few days it will be HALLOWEEN:)…one of my favorite holidays!  It was really lots of fun when my children, and later grandchildren, were small…the costumes, hayrides, pumpkin carvings, fall festivals, and of course…TRICK OR TREAT!!!

I have PINTEREST boards for all the main holidays, and I thought I would share some of my favorite HALLOWEEN pins.  Maybe you can use some of the ideas; maybe some will bring back sweet & fun memories; maybe you’ll just enjoy looking at them.  And a big, big THANK YOU to all those creative people out there that are willing to share their fabulous ideas with not-so-creative people…like ME!!!

This would be a great idea to use up some of those BUTTONS in Grandmama’s button box.

tumbler.com

These WITCH's HAT cookies are so cute and oh so simple to make.  I had the mother of one of my students make these (and so many other things) one year and the kids loved them.  This site has lots of other fun Halloween food ideas too.

Is this not one of the cutest COSTUMES you’ve ever seen???  The link no longer works but it doesn’t look too hard to put together.  Finding a plastic pot that big might be a problem, but Amazon might have one.  (Amazon has everything…right???)

Everybody loves carving those jack-o-lanterns, putting a light inside, and displaying on the front porch or steps…..until they ROT  But here are some ways that might keep a smile on Jack’s face until Halloween is over.  What you can use...petroleum jelly, bleach, or pumpkin preservation spray...did you know there was such a thing???  I didn't!      (Disclaimer:  I’ve never tried them so can’t vouch for the success of them!)

Guess what else you can use….

I’ve always wondered what those could be used for…and now we know!!!

These would be easy to make for teachers, classmates, or special friends that come for Trick or Treat.  A second site has a different tag (with directions) and you can print it out for free.  I do love people who share…I also love S'mores:)

Just had to include these cute little ghosts.  I made dozens of them over the years, but I used Kleenex instead of cloth (I’m cheap frugal like that.)

Here’s another cute idea for classmates.  This particular tag is no longer available but similar ones can be bought on Etsy.  Of course, if you are a little computer savvy, you could make them yourself.

And this would be an adorable treat for toddlers or preschoolers.
(Of course, some of those little guys & gals may protest that it isn't CANDY!)

I love this for a teacher, hostess or coworker.  I couldn’t find a direct link but thanks to Bianca.

If you have any empty toilet paper rolls lying around, you can always turn them into GHOST PINATAS.  How fun that would be for a kid (or a wish-I-was-still-a-kid adult!)

You can find sooooooooooo many other Halloween ideas on Pinterest.  Let’s face it…if it isn’t on Pinterest you probably don’t need to know about it!!!!

Hope you might can use some of these ideas or add them to your own Pinterest board.  What????  You don’t have any Pinterest boards?  Oh my…we need to talk.  I can literally lose myself in Pinterest for hours.  Give me a rainy day, my comfy pjs, a steaming mug of coffee or hot cocoa, and my laptop tuned into Pinterest…well, that’s just about a P-E-R-F-E-C-T day😊

Happy Halloween, my FA-BOO-LOUS Blogger friends!
